Fourth day

 Hi everyone😍😍Today our 4th practical day and we visited to the Govkushon madrasah, which is located in the old city. 


It was built in the historical center of Bukhara in 1562-1565during Shaybani ruler Abdulla Kahn ll at the expense of Khoja Saad, the sheikh of Dzhoybor Khoja Saad is known by the nickname "khoja kalon" which is deflected in this name complex.


The name govkushon (killing bulls) is related to the fact that there was slaughterhouse here until the 16th century. A little later, after the construction of the madrasah Bukharas second Juma Mosque, was built around it, with pool and a low minaret, imitating the Minaret kalon later, caravansarai were built nearby .

 Hello everyone. Today our 9th practical day. We visited to Mag'oki Attori Mosque.  The Magoki-Attori Mosque in the city's centre is an example of an urban mosque in a residential quarter. The mosque was built on the site of the pre-lslamic Moh temple mentioned above. Excavations have revealed the fact that even under the Samanids there was a six-pier mosque, which apparently was also domed. However, it was rebuilt substantially in the twelfth century; the floor level was upgraded and the main facade received a new design that survives with little damage only. By the sixteenth century, the thickness of cultural layers had increased so much that mosque seemed to sink deep into the soil and its facade was unearthed only as a result of excavations carried out in the 1930s.

 Good part of the day ♡ How are you doing my dear followers. Our second day started by going to Hazrat Boboyi Poradoʻz grave. So Hazrati Boboyi Poradoʻz (Boboyi Shavqi; Shayx Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Ahmad Al Askof) . He was Middle Asian scholar and lived in the 9th century. The Boboyi Poradoz Mausoleum (Uzbek: Boboyi Poradoʻz maqbarasi) is a monument of architecture in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The mausoleum was built in the 19th century and is located behind the Salakhona gate. Today the mausoleum is located opposite the Ibn Sina Library of Bukhara. The mausoleum is included in the National List of Objects of Material Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan of Republican Importance.
